In celebration of ALI WEEK, our very own Terry Middleton will be at the Farmers Market on Saturday to talk with customers and share his memories and photo of Muhammed Ali. Terry’s gym was honored as a local business yesterday for his 50 years in business in New Albany.
From Terry: Ali…just lived across town from me as kids…all the neighbor school kids knew who he was even in his early career…I saw him several times on return visits…his sparring partners, nephew, friends and Champions Jimmy Ellis and Greg Page were all at our gym in New Albany…and of course, he was a hometown hero to us all.
